Eagles Training Camp

On July 25, I went to the training camp of the Philadelphia Eagles at Lehigh University. Here are a few things I saw:

1) During certain special-teams drills, some of the players put an orange skull cap over their helmets.

It makes them look silly

2) Swoop, the Eagles mascot had an extremely filthy costume. It looks like it hasn't been washed in a really long time.

But this guy didn't mind

3) The man sitting next to me had a shirt-pocket full of pens, markers, and highlighters. He also had a folder full of spreadsheets, notes, and graphs with all kinds of statistics about the players and teams of years gone by. He took a few notes throughout the practice on his notepad. I overheard someone ask him if he was a reporter and he said "No." He mentioned to someone nearby that his wife packed him some sunscreen this year.
